nearby plant to be frozen for

Women in the Association baked

Council youth there is always
plenty of help to serve the
seemingly never-ending line.
The weather was perfect - not too
hot, not too cold - and although
there was no official tally Friday,
it was decided by the officers that
“over 4,000 were served”. This is

approximately 4800 people tasted
Golden Guernsey homemade ice
cream at the annual social.
The proceeds from this enable
the Guernsey Breeders to give
awards to 4-H and FFA youth who
show Guernseys and also help
members with classification ex
penses.
If anyone was unable to attend
the social this year - keep in mind it
is always the second Friday
evening in July. The Association
has quite a record to boast about -
the social has never been rained
out!
