Lower dressed beef prices and a sharp curtailment in demand for two-way steers kept pressure on the fed cattle market through the week. A solid demand existed for mostly choice steers and heifers scaling over 1125 lbs. and 975 lbs. respectively ; while lighter weight cattle came under a narrow demand and were discounted accordingly.
