she was "proud, honored and
challenged.”

president,” she said.

"And, 1 feel challenged by the
exciting year that lies ahead.”
"1 challenge each of you,” she
told her fellow FFA’ers, “to use
your Godrgiven talents to their
fullest extent and keep on striving
toward your goals.”
In his final address before a
statewide assembly, Michael
Dilhard, retiring president from
the Penns Valley Chapter, held a
bit of a revival meeting and told
the blue-and-gold jacketed group:
“We are among the World
Champions of Agriculture.”
“We are an elite group of young
people,” he continued.
“We have, freedom, respon
sibilities and opportunities and it’s
up to us as to what we’re going to
do with them.”
