ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Maryland Department of Agriculture’s aerial battle against the gypsy moth has ended for the year as the last spray flights were flown in Baltimore, Frederick and Washington counties on May 26. Approximately 120,000 acres were treated in the campaign waged in 11 counties of the state. Spray operations, ducking winds and ram on many days, were completed within the allotted period despite starting about a week late. Robert H.
