Underwriters’ Labratones, Inc. Exteriors of underground tanks are coated
with black asphaltum paint. Exteriors of above ground tanks are coated
with red primer. STI-P3 system of corrosion protection for underground
steel storage tanks available at an additional charge. We can provide
timely delivery anywhere from 2 locations; Quarryville, PA; and Clarks

for the New York Stock Exchange
during The Fertilizer Institute’s
1983 Marketing Conference, June
12-15 in White Sulphur Springs, W.
Va. The occasion has also been
chosen to mark the 100th an
niversary of the industry
association and its predecessor
organizations.
Sen. Wendell H. Ford (D-Ky.),
ranking minority member of the
Senate Rules Committee and
member of the Energy and
Natural Resources Committee,
will keynote the general session
with an evaluation of the nation’s
economic condition. Ford’s Senate
assignments also involve three key
subcommittees, including one on
energy regulation, a topic on which
industry leaders expect to hear his
views.

the birth of the first national fer
tilizer association in May 1883.
Institute president Gary D. Myers
will present a look ahead for the
organization and industry, setting
an agenda for action during the
coming years. Myers wifi be
conducting the Institute’s first
major conference since his elec
tion as president last February.
Chairman of the association’s
board of directors, Jonathan P.
Rogers, vice president and general
manager of Mobil Chemical Co.’s
phosphorus division, will serve as
presiding officer at the annual
event. More than 800 industry
leaders are expected to be on hand.
