A strong demand, fostered by modest terminal receipts and shortened packer inventories boosted fed cattle prices to their highest levels since July, 1982. Overall finish not too attractive with many cattle still carrying considerable amounts of mud. Early week snowstorms com plicated the situation, both on receipts and the condition of livestock.
