N. Lebanon FFA cites 5 Stars among top members
FREDERICKSBURG Five to Cassandra Edris and Delmas
members of the Northern Lebanon Hemley. Hemley also received
Chapter of the Future Farmers of the Distinguished Service Award

Steve Murray narrated the creed
and Harvey Smith, area con
sultant, presented Keystone
Farmer Degree pins to Randy Erb
and Lisa Weikel. Ray and Brenda
Reinbold, Frank Mohn, and Steve
Murray received medals for
participating in the State FFA
band.
Honorary Membership was
confered upon Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Weikel, Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim
Erb Jr., Eugene Krall, and
Thomas Rank.
Citation awards were presented
12 win tobacco awards

Reynolds Tobacco Production
Awards were presented recently to
12 young Pennsylvania tobacco
fanners during an awards banquet
for the Manor Chapter, Future
Farmers of America.
This was the first FFA tobacco
production awards presentation in
Pennsylvania.
The first place winner, Barry
Geib, of Manheim Central High
School, received a plaque and a
cash award of $2OO. Tanya Green of
Penn Manor High School won
second place and a cash award of
$l5O. The third place winner, Steve
Main of Penn Manor High School,
Adams Star Farmer
The FFA Battlefield Chapter vice-president, Ed Wilkinson,
R 4 Gettysburg, was presented the Adams County Star
Farmer Award at the recent Adams County Degree Banquet.
Wilkinson is a junior at Gettysburg Senior High School. He
was one of ten Battlefield Chapter members who were Apple
Hemley earned the trophy for
being the highest citrus fruit
salesperson, while Eugene Ditzler
and Eric Sweinhart received
trophies for selling more than 50
crates. John Rupp received
trophies for selling the most flower
bulbs. Tim Blatt also received the
Edward A. West Memorial Tractor
Driving Trophy.
