John Deere riding mowers are an easy and
economical way to take the legwork out of lawn work.
Climb aboard and see how enjoyable mowing jobs can

Choose from four models. The 5-hp 65 with 28-inch
cut; the 8-hp 68 with 30-inch cut and recoil or electric
start; and the 8-hp 68 with 34-inch cut and electric
start.
Each model is “human engineered" with cushioned
seat, color-coded controls, roomy operator’s area and
wide nonslip footrests. Triple-safety starting guards
against accidental starts. A welded steel frame
provides added durability.
The 65 Rider has a gear-drive 3-speed transmission;
68 Riders have a 5-speed in-line transmission that lets
you clutch and shift on the go. Cutting heights adjust
easily, from 1 to 3 inches on the 65 and from 1 to 4
inches on the 68.
To give your lawn a manicured look, a evfe-bushel
rear bagger is available for use with the 30-inch 68
Rider.
