Richard S. Kauffman, 4-H,
Coordinator, conducted the session
which covered the duties of the
organizational leader in a 4-H club.
Kauffman explained that the
leaders are the key link in a 4-H
club. Their duties include repor
ting, organization; coordination of
other leaders’ and members’
activities; recruitment; planning
the yearly program; informing
members of county, state, and
regional 4-H events; and main
taining a communication link with
the county 4-H office.
