The New England Livestock Conservation, Inc. has two $350 scholarships available. Their purpose is to foster in creased interest in the proper handling and production of domestic livestock, to stimulate outstanding youth activities towards these goals, and to provide some financial assistance to students who desire to further their education in this special field. Any resident of the New England States who has been admitted to a recognized two-year or four-year post-high school institution in New England, and planning to major in the animal science is eligible. The student may be entering as a freshman or already actively enrolled in the institution. A Scholarship Committee will evaluate and select the two win ners. Guidelines will be background, experience, academic performance, financial need, and interest in livestock and/or animal products industries.
