Kind of Commodity High-Moisture Corn
The Lancaster County ASCS Office, located at
1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, hereby
announces the contemplated sale of grain and
invites bids on the following gram subject to the
terms and conditions of the Invitation to Bid. Such
disposition will be for domestic unrestricted use
unless otherwise indicated below. Bids will be
opened March 30, 1983, 10 00 a.m. Bids will not
be considered unless received prior to such
opening time.
(1) Quantity and Location of Commodity.
Loan No. C-81-14 Approximate Quantity 10,175
Bushel To be sold in 1,000 bushel lots. Location of
Grain 2 miles south of Kinzers - 3 miles west of Gap
- From Rt 30 go south at Vintage Rd . follow Mine
Rd., go east to first farm
(2) All bids must be submitted in writing, signed
by the bidder, and specify the price per bushel
f o b buyer’s conveyance at the storage location
(3) Alternative or tie-in bids will not be accepted
(4) CCC reserves the right to accept or reject in
whole or part any or all bids, and in considering
bids to take into account the financial respon
sibility of the bidder.
(5) CCC does not warrant the grade and/or
quality of any commodity in this lot or the fitness of
this commodity for any particular use. The buyers
may make arrangements to inspect any lots offered
prior to bidding by making arrangements with the
County Executive Director.
(6) Quantities in the lots indicated are ap
proximate. The funds due CCC shall be based on
the gross weight delivered.
(7) Payment shall be in cash, postal money order,
check, or draft guaranteed by the banking in
stitution on which shown, or if approved by the
County Executive Director, uncertified personal or
firm check.
(8) Payment must be made at the time of delivery
of the gram and not later than five business days
after the day of sale.
(9) Delivery basis will be f.o.b. buyer’s con
veyance loaded at the site.
(10) Bids should be offered on a tonnage basis
