Left to Right: Ivan, Ernest, Leon Moyer
In 1982 Moyer’s Hatched over 10 million chicks -
the most in their 36 years history. We think that's very
significant. During the last several years molting
practices have jumped from less than 10% to around
50%. National hatch of pullets chicks is off 15%.
Commercial broiler profitability challenges have
depressed that market as welt.
In spite of this economic climate Moyer’s growing
customers have given them a v sincere vote of con
fidence. Moyer’s has a line-up of the best DeKalb
brown & white egg layers as well as commercial broiler
strains. This combined with the Moyer’s name
standing for reliability and customer satisfaction has
made them the largest hatchery offering both layers
and broilers in Pennsylvania. We are honored to have
you our customers give us this distinction. Thank you!
