troduced at this time. All five new
tractor models are available with
2-wheel drive or mechanically
powered all-wheel drive and all are
powered by high-torque, 4-
cylinder, naturally-aspirated
engines.
New hay machine introductions
include a 10-ft. Kotary Haymaker
for use with Cat-1 or II three-point
hitches, and a Universal
Haymaker that functions as both
rotary rake and tedder.
The Deutz-Fahr HD 460 Baler is I
a twme-Ue baler that produces 14 *
18-inch rectangular bales; bale
length can be varied from 12 to 51
inches. Its plunger operates on 10
sealed roller bearings at 100
strokes a minute.
The Deutz-Fahr rotary orchard
rake clears an 8-ft. swath of cut
tings and primings up to 5 inches in
diameter m groves and orchards
while operating at speeds of IVi to 3
mph. Kaplan says the machine will
clear in an hour as much as live
men with hand rakes can clear m a
day.
