Reynolds Tobacco Company, Winston-Salem, N.C., visited College Park in mid-February to present checks totalling $9,000 to agricultural administrators at the University of Maryland. Of that amount, $4,000 will be used to support a new tobacco pro duction education and computer training program by the univer sity’s Cooperative Extension Service, while $5,000 was ear marked for a discretionary grant, to be used by the dean of the College of Agriculture. Components of the tobacco Extension funding plans include: county agent training in tobacco Pa. milk production up HARRISBURG - Milk production in Pennsylvania during January 1963 totaled 782 million pounds, up three percent from a year earlier, according to the Pennsylvania Crop Reporting Service. The number of milk cows in the Commonwealth during January average 738,000 head, up 4,000 head from a year ago.
