American Host sponsor of the
program, is the only non-profit,
non-governmental program
designed to show the American
way of life to European teachers

endorsed by the Department of
state.

European teachers need
American host families
Host has opened the doors to better
understanding for more than
twelve thousand English-speaking
European teachers who have
passed on their new understanding
to their students, friends and
colleagues when they have
returned to their homelands.
Being a host family is open to
anyone who has the desire to in
crease understanding and friend
ship between Europeans and
Americans. Host families are
required to provide a private room
and meals for their guest and to
give the guest the opportunity to
of Prussia. The theme of this event
is entitled “Equine Discovery
’83.”
Featured speaker for the event is
Linda Tellington-Jones. Linda is
an acclaimed horse trainer who,
through a revolutionary new
system of learning exercises
aubbed TEAM, treats problem
horses, from hard to handle
stallions to moody mares. She has
taught horse psychology for the
University of California at Santa
Cruz, and has co-authored two
books, on endurance riding and
equine physhical therapy. Linda
also will conduct a working clinic
