circle on paper. 2. For “grandpa,”
copy the face as illustrated with

CUTTING THE PIECES: 1.
Using the paper patterns, cut two
8-inch circles of felt and one 8-inch
circle of polyester batting for each
potholder. 2. Using the paper
drawing as a pattern, cut eyes
(blue), hair (gray), man’s
eyebrow’s and mustache (white),
cheeks (pink), lips (red), and bow
(red or print) from felt or other
fabric scraps, 3. Cut the same
facial features and details from
fusible webbing.

lM>x4-inch strip of fabric. 2. Turn
under V«-inches hem on long edges.
3. Fold strip in half lengthwise.

ting close to seam. Clip curves. 5.
Turn potholder to right side. Turn
raw edges to inside. Press
potholder.
FINISHING: 1. Topstitch'
