FARM SHOW - A Cumberland
County family walked off with all
the marbles, Tuesday, during the
Milking Shorthorn competition.
Three Springs Farm of Newville
proved that it was a family attkir
when a dam and daughter gar*
nered the Grand Champion and
Reserve Grand Champion titles,
respectively.
When the dust settled, the James
Young family also netted, the
Junior and Reserve Junior
Champion titles as well as Premier
Breeder and Exhibitor banners.
Young’s aged cow entry Three
Springs TFP Peggy marked her
Farm Show debut with a grand
champion title. Currently milking
li pounds daily, the champ is sired
by TabbagongF Prince.
Her daughter Three Springs Ann
kept the winning in the family by
earning the Reserve Grand
Champion title.

Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon. The
small island is located in the In
dian Ocean off the southeast tip of
India.
