Lancaster Farm Women 6 held a Petersburg showed slides of their
family night, Oct. 2, at the Lan- trip to Switzerland,

Berks Farm Women 8 met on
Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the home of
Elenore Wagner.

discussed: county convention, Oct.
2; ham on roll sale, Nov. 6; Berks
Heim Bingo, Nov. 18; and the
senior citizens’ banquet, Nov. 19.
The next meeting will be held at
Laysers Flowers in Myerstown.

Lancaster Farm Women 22 met 21 for a visit to Conestoga View on
recently at the home of Mrs. Henry Thursday, Oct. 21

LANCASTER The Lancaster
County Federation of Women’s
Club is assisting the Lancaster
County Library in collecting
cookbooks published in Lancaster
County or written by local authors
and residents.
The Federation is looking for old
editions and new ones published by
Bible classes, church groups, local
societies, organizations, in
stitutions and food processing
plants. Multiple copies are desired.
Personal handwritten cookbooks
are of great value for research and
historical purposes.
Persons wishing to donate
cookbooks should contact their
local library, Lancaster County
