Discounting on both whole birds and parts is usually the only means of stimulating movement and most items are priced lower today. Most plants feel definite signs of improvement may be lacking with until mid next week. Today’s L.T.L. asking prices lower on U.S. Grade Aat 42-46 cents with most plants open to further negotation. Estimated slaughter of broiler fryers in Delmarva (000). Slaughter schedules continue heavy, although an occasional plant has no slaughter schedule today.
