Consisting of 136 head of mature cows, 40 of which are Ist & 2nd calf cows. Approximately 25 head have freshened in past 60 days,
25 dry cows with balance in different stages of lactation. Many cows with records over 15000 lbs. milk with at least 10 head with
over 20,000 lbs. of milk and 750 lbs. fat. 100 head of calfhood vac. heifers of which 40 are of breeding age, 26 head 6 to 9 months of
age, 20 head of started heifers, balance are bred heifers bred to freshen from sale date to spring. All are dehorned and have extra
teats removed.
This is an excellent home-raised herd including 2 heifers, one Arhnda Chief and one Ivanhoe Star with an index of 1207 and 1297,
out of artificial breeding by mostly Sire Power breeding using such sires as: ELEVATION, ASTRONAUT, AKLINDA CHIEF,
MARVEX, JEMINI, GAY IDEAL, IVANHOE STAR, and others. There are 40 Registered mature cows, 30 Registered heifers
and approx. 100 head of Identified Grades. Herd Bangs & T.B. tested within 30 days of sale; pregnancy examined by Vet. with
Lepto & IBR shots. Official D.H.I.A. records and catalogs at ringside.
This is an exceptional herd out of artificial breeding and bred back artificially, some sate in calf to Chairman. These cows are
milking well and showing a lot of potential to the good dairyman. Don’t miss this sale!
