Basically, the program involves an
evaluation of fourteen physical trait
areas for each cow. Two performance
areas, milking speed and disposition are
also included. Two sires (a first, and
second choice) are then recommended
that offer the greatest potential for
improvement of production, type and
longevity. The program is custom
designed to meet each dairyman’s goals
for his herd.
