lower with demand narrow on the
close. Salable receipts totaled near
28,500 head compared with 31,444
last week and 21,005 the com
parable week a year ago. The
majority or 89 percent of the
supplies consisted of feeder cattle
and calves; cows and bulls
numbered near 3,000 head and
made up 11 percent of the total.
