NEWARK, Del. - Alverna
Ridgeway, a 9-year-old from
Townsend, Del., showed the grand
champion hog at the annual 4-H
Feeder Pig Round-up at the
Delaware State Fair.
The reserve champion hog was
raised by Steve Majchrzak, 19, of
Seaford.
Both young people bought their
animals as feeder pigs last spring
and raised them to market weight.

in this year's contest, which took

pound pig was one of 75 exhibited during the 4-H Feeder Pig
Round'up at the Delaware State Fair.
