More winners emerge from State 4-H Days
Maurice Kramer, state 4-H director, recognized Edith
Hemminger, of Newville, Lori Davidson, of Shippensburg,
and Karen Miller of Mechanicsburg, as the highest scoring
Horticulture Judging Team at 4-H State Achievement Days
held at Penn State University.
Adams County 4-H members were first place winners in the
Demonstration Contest. From left, 4-H agent Darlene Resh

Reaver, Littlestown. Both did demonstrations in the
‘‘general’’ category. Over 500 4-H members from throughout
the Commonwealth took part in the various demonstration
events.
