They're fun and easy to make Don’t you love it when mom puts brownies in your lunch pail? Then treat her, too. But don’t make traditional chocolate brownies...try butterscotch brownies and have fun eating! BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 1/4 c. butter 1 c. dark brown sugar 1 egg, unbeaten 11. vanilla 1/2 c. sifted enriched flour 11. baking powder 1/21. salt 1/2 c. broken nuts Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Cool slightly, then beat in egg and vanilla. Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in with nuts. Turn into greased BxB inch pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 to 30 minutes. Cut immediately into bars. Makes 16 or more bars. Have fun! This farm is located on Providence Road in Malvern. Included in the classes will be “go to ground,” and flat and hurdle trials.
