prompted by strength posted in
dressed beef channels, held
through midweek, but a cautious
attitude was noted on Wednesday
as most buyers had little con
fidence that beef prices would hold
the levels of early week trading.
Steers made up 45 percent of
week’s receipts. Heifers 42 per
cent. Cows 7 percent. Feeders 4
Percent. Four day receipts 9,367,
last week 8,204, year ago 11,190.
