for breakfast hoping to eat on the
way to Dearborn, Mich. Here we
spent the day walking through the
Greenfield Village which Henry
Ford created m 1929. It is a large
collection of buildings including
the birthplaces of many famous
men. We toured the homes of
Luther Burbank, Noah Webster,
Wright Brothers and the famous H.
J. Heinz. The latter made his first
horseradish sauce here m his
home. It was the start of the huge
processing plants which now bear
his name. There were antique
cars, trucks and even horse drawn
vehicles continually being driven
through the streets to explain
places of interest to the tourists.
In the afternoon we walked
through the adjacent Henry Ford
Museum. We saw many different
areas devoted to transportation.

order to look up an old friend, who
by the way, we were not able to
find. On the way out of the town we
had an accident. It happened so
quickly that we didn’t know what
hit us. But we were hit! The whole
side of the car v as smashed m with
many, many repairs necessary. At
least we were not injured. What to
