Delmarva Poultry
Thursday, July 15
Report supplied by USDA
MARKET COMMENT: RTC
movement light and unaggressive.
Advance interest slow in
developing as most sellers find
retail interest close to nil. Parts
prices working lower on most
items but are a shade better than
whole birds. Slaughter schedules
heavy but moderating slightly at
some plants, live supplies fully
adequate. Undertone steady to
weak.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices one
to two cents lower on U.S. Grade A
at 46-51 cents.
Estimated slaughter of broiler
fryers in Delmarva (000).

XL&DK
Two layers with distinctly different characteristics... From two
separate research programs.
You don't have to buy from two different companies to get the two top
layers on the market.
The XL shows excellent production under many management
conditions. The OK responds best to finely tuned, close management.
DEKALB Layers are bred to possess the economic traits most
applicable to your operation. You do have a choice... The high
productivity XL or the high efficiency DK.
