Benner co-chairs the farmers’ Thornburgh reelection committee with Nellie Crawford of Port Royal, a dairy farmer and chairman of the State Women’s Committee of Pennsylvania Farmers’ Association. Benner noted the committee will work with the Thomburgh-Scranton cam paign and with the Pennsylvania Ag Republicans. He added the committee’s membership is bipartisan and will represent all agricultural sections of the state, as well as all farm commodities.
