tion, the Eliasons admit they’re
still learning, still trying to make
their way like everyone else. Bill
shrugs his shoulders about a
ramshackle budding he hasn’t
gotten around to tearing down yet
maybe never will. Margaretta
jokes that her friends tease her
about mismatched kitchen ap
pliances.
But there’s a friendly warmth in
that kitchen that no one could miss,
and people who know the Eliasons
realize tbey have their priorities
straight. They care for their.cows,
and even more, they care for
people.

layers was 6,532 compared with
6,601 for the March-May period in
1981.
The nation’s laying flocks
produced 17.4 billion eggs during
the March-May 1982 quarter, one
percent less than the 17.6 billion a
year ago.
