MARKET COMMENT: While
ready to cook movement on whole
birds has shown some im-.
provement in most quarters &
orders are generally a little
heavier, the overall movement is
rather disappointing in view of
expectation. Parts are in much the
same position.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices
remained unchanged on U.S.
Grade A at 51-54 cents. With fully
adequate stocks available at these
levels. Slaughter schedules are
fairly heavy. Live supplies are
fully adequate to ample. Weights
are desirable at most all plants.
