A2o—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, June 26,1912 HARRISBURG - The top agriculture officials from eleven states in the region will meet at the Hotel Hershey July 11-14 to discuss issues of importance to nor theastern agriculture, according to Pa. Agricultural Secretary Penrose Hallowell. Hallowell said that the annual meeting of the Northeast Association of State Departments of Agriculture will focus on specific northeastern agricultural problems such as milk marketing and production, water resources and exports of agricultural products. Hallowell, president of NEASDA, said the Association will formulate ideas for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture annual meeting agenda in lowa later this summer. Hallowell said, “Most people think of the Northeast as an in dustrial region, but agriculture continues as an essential factor in the region’s economy.
