Berks Farm Women 9 met in the
home of Ruth Hafer recently with
ten members present.
Members voted to donate $4O to
the Hamburg Center to send two
disabled people to camp.
A $5O donation was given to the
Amity Fire Company.
The July 14 meeting will be held
m the home of Sue Hendricks at 8
p.m. where the Berks County
Dairy Princess will talk about
nutrition.

Snyder, deputy secretary of
agriculture, was guest speaker for
the regular meeting of the
Elizabethtown Area Grange, held
May 27, here. His topic was
“Opportumtes of Farming ”
At another meeting, held June 3,
discussion involved selling state
Grange cookbooks, a stand at the
Elizabethtown Fair, and hoagie
sales at the Second Annual Perry
County Arts and Crafts Fair in
Newport.
The next meeting has been
scheduled for June 17
