Add vanilla. Sift flour. Measure, and add salt, soda and baking powder. Sift agam. Add sifted dry ingredients alternatley with milk. Mix thoroughly after each addition. Chill dough m refrigerator over night. In the morning, turn out on floured board and roll as thin as possible. Cut in squares or any shape desired. Place 1 mch apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until crisp and a golden brown. Makes about 6 dozen.
