S.B. 257 Power Plant Siting:
would extend duration of the en
vironmental surcharge on elec
tricity from 1965 to 1990; money is
used to fund the Power Plant Siting
Program.
S.B. 154 Motor Vehicle In
surance-Rates: would mandate
that a geographical area could not
be used as a factor in determining
motor vehicle insurance rates. If
this bill became law it would in
crease our vehicle insurance rates
in rural areas.
H.B. 172 Unemployment In
surance-Labor Dispute: would
mandate that an individual may
not be disqualified from unem
ployment benefits if the individual
is involved in ah authorized strike
that has continued for more than 7
weeks.
S.B. 401 Cruelty to Animals:
amends section of the cruelty to
animals law that deals with
normal veterinary and
agricultural husbandry practices.
H.B. 533 Vehicle Laws - Stop
Laws: would require every motor
vehicle registered in this state and
