Horticulture club plans hoagie sale
YORK The York County
Horticulture Club met February 22
at the 4-H Center to plan a hoagie
sell, to be held August 20.
The sale will be held at the Red
Lion Tailgate Market to make
money to help members attend the
National Horticulture Association
annual meeting at Niagara Falls.
Also scheduled, is a flower
New Holland Baby Beef meets
NEW HOLLAND - The second
meeting ot the New Holland 4-H
Baby Beef Club was held February
16 at the Sperry New Holland
educational room.
Club members presented
progress on their steers.
Whichway names officers
LANCASTER - The Whichway
4-H Club elected officers at their
latest meeting.
Elected were: president, Kathy
Ehlman; vice president, Jeff
Stewart; secretary, Lorraine
Rafter; treasurer, Bonnie Hottle;
news reporters, Lisa Pinkerton
and Andrew Sutton.
Lebanon Valley goat club meets
LEBANON The Lebanon The next meeting will be on April
Valley 4-H Dairy Goat Club met on 18. Topic for the evening will be
Sunday, Feb. 21 to discuss dairy care and feeding of goats,
goat characteristics.

Club members will be having a
plant sale stand at the 4-H auction
on March 19.
For the evening’s program, Bess
Hutchenreuter held a seed iden
tification quiz.
The next meeting will be at
Martin’s Berry Farm on April 22.
Entertainment included two
educational films. One was on
quality hay making and the other,
a farming profile.
The next meeting will be held at
the same location at 7:30 p.m. on
March 16.
Awards were given to Bryan
Fenoff, first year member; An
drew Sutton, perfect attendance;
Jeff Stewart, past president and
second year teen leader.
A roller skating party is planned
tor March 14 and the next meeting
tor March 15.
