Susquehanna Co.
finishes 56th year
MUNI ROSE The Susquehanna County DHIA recently
finished its 56th continuous year with 7,951 cows on test
producing averages of 14,855 pounds of milk and 559 pounds
of fat. Testing for 1981 included 157 whole-year herds and 11
Owner-Sampler herds.
T.R. Williams and Sons led the county with averages of
22,756 pounds of milk and 839 pounds of fat on 19.7 cows.
Top producing cow tor milk with 31,982 pounds, was a 7-
year-old Holstien owned by Walter Brooks of Sprmgville.
John Castrogiovanni ot Montrose claimed the high-tat
producer-a 3-year-otd Holstein which finished with 1,268
pounds.
