The disease can spread rapidly, infecting more than
half of the herd - of which 20% to 40% may die
showing severe lesions of the lungs. Animals that do
recover arc generally slow growing, show poor feed
conversion, and are potential carriers of the disease.
Administration may be either subcutaneous or intra
muscular. Vaccinate at 8 weeks or older Revac
cmate 3 weeks later.
