Dell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Dell, has conducted a wide variety of projects in FFA, including a dairy herd of 13 Jer seys and Holsteihs, 20 head of swine, 10 acres of com silage, 15 acres of field com and 20 acres of hay. He has served on the banquet, scrapbook and executive com mittees. His contest competition has been in county land judging and county parliamentary procedure. His FFA offices have been reporter and vice president. His chapter’s Star Farmer, he has attended four midwinter conventions and was chapter representative to Extension Week Banquet, Farm-City Week Banquet and local Grange meetings. He has won numerous first and second placings in project book competition. He plans to go into partnership with his father and older brother on the family dairy family, as well as continue to raise and market swine. He enjoys trapping. BrlanAnderson Southern Huntingdon Chapter S. Huntingdon High School Brian Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Anderson, RD, Three Springs, is president of his FFA chapter. His projects include dairy heifers, cows, hay and a super vised occupational experience program. He has been a member of the chapter’s dairy judging team in ’ state competition. \O^X) Three years ago he received Star Greenhand honors. He also takes part in varsity basketball and local fire company activities. He will be continuing to work on the family dairy farm. As hobbies he enjoys hunting and motorcycles. John Morgan Southern Huntingdon Chapter S. Huntingdon High School John Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Morgan, Shirleysburg, has conducted projects in swine, beef production, veal calves, dairy heifers and cows, corn, hay and supervised occupational ex perience. He now serves as his chapter’s reporter. He has served on various committees throughout his four years in FFA. He plans to become a dairy farmer. Hunting is his principal hobby. Depew, Rl, Mif flintown, has served as treasurer, vice president and student advisor of his chapter. His FFA projects have been concentrated in the dairy area. He has participated in State Project Book competition and the District Dairy Show. He was awarded both the Star Greenhand and Star Chapter Farmer degrees and also holds the Lloyd E. Guiser Award and the Dairy Production Award. His other activities are in the area of football, track, Varsity “J” Club, volleyball and member of the Pine Grove Mennonite Church. He plans to attend college and major in ag engineering. As hobbies he enjoys hunting and swimming. James Telfer Juniata Chapter Juniata High School Dairy production has also been the major project of James Telfer, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Telfer, Star Route, Mifflin. His committee work has been in James Teller the areas of fruit sales, FFA Week and the District Dairy Show. His FFA offices have included sentinel and treasurer. Other activities include Volleyball Club and the Physical Fitness Club. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and playing basketball. Lebanon County Daryl Balmer Little Dutchmen Chapter AnnvUle-Cleona High School Daryl L. Balmer, 16, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Balmer, R 4, Lebanon, has held numerous of fices at both the chapter and county levels of FFA. He has served as chapter president, vice president and treasurer. On the county level, he has served as vice president and treasurer. His projects have ranged from dairy herd to field com and soybeans.
