Ice Cream
2 pans that fit inside each other, or
2 metal bowls that nest inside each
other
metal spoon
crushed ice—4 quarts
rock salt
3 eggs
2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
215-ounce cans evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
Ice cream may also be made by
using a large pan of ice, sprinkled
with coarse salt.
Beat eggs. Beat in sugar and
salt. Stir in milk and vanilla. Put a
small amount at a tune of this
mixture mto the second pan. Place
the second pan on top of the ice.
Stir as the ice cream mixture
freezes.

Buescher to address Foundation’s annual meeting

A native of Indiana, Buescher is
retired from more than a three
decade career m the farm
equipment industry. His subject
Festive Frosty. Flurries
1. Combine 2 cups lowfat yogurt
with 4 cups of pineapple juice.
Blend Vs cup shredded coconut.
Top with a slice of orange.
2. Blend 2 bananas with l /z cup
grape juice, 3 cups lowfat milk, 1
cup ice cubes. Sprinkle shredded
coconut on top.
3. Combine equal amounts of
apple juice and lowfat milk,
sprinkle with cinnamon.
4. Blend one part orange juice, 2
parts cantaloupe, juice of one
lemon, 2 cups crushed ice. Garnish
with mint leaves.
5. Blend 3 cups of pineapple
juice, 2 cubed large carrots and 1
cup ice cubes.
We hope these activities will
offer an interesting change of pace
for that sometimes dreaded week
after Christmas.
