“Dry Nitrogen, Broadcast Post-
Emergence” W. Drew Stabler of
Gaithersburg, Md., a Montgomery
county farmer;
LANCASTER The annual, subject will be The American
meeting of the Farm and Home\ Dream, a three cheere for America
Foundation of Lancaster County presentation combining humor

The eighth annual farmer
educational event is scheduled
Jan. 7 in the Exhibition hall on the
Maryland state fairground at
Timonium. Registration will get
under way at 8 a.m,, with the
morning program set to begin at
9:30. The afternoon program will
runfroml:3oto3:3o.
Tickets for the noon lunch must
be purchased in advance before
Dec. 30 from county Extension
offices in Delaware, Maryland,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Virginia or West Virginia.
More than 1,300 farmers and
agribusinessmen from the six
state area are expected to attend,
according to V. Allan Bandel,
planning committee chairman.
Bandel is Extension soils specialist
and professor of agronomy at the
University of Maryland, College
