The show scheduled: 9:30-11:30 a.m. FFA and 4-H Club entries due; 9:30-1:30 p.m. adult entries due; 1:30 p.m. judging begins. The classes that are being of fered for this show will be the same as for the State Farm Show and are as follows: Class 1 - Wrapper B’s Div. A, Long wrappers, over 26 inches; Div. B, Short wrappers, 26 inches and under. Class 2 - Filler B’s Div. A, Long fillers, over 26 inches; Div. B, Short fillers, 26 inches and under. Class 3 - Binder Type Div. A, Long binders, over 26 inches; Div. B, Short binders, 26 inches and under. Class 4 - 4-H Club Wrappers No length specified. Columbia announces annual DHIA meeting BLOOMSBURG - The annual meeting of the Columbia County DHIA will be held on Tuesday, December 29 at noon at the Lightstreet Grange Hall. Dinner will cost $2.50 for members and their families and $5 for guests. Everyone interested in the dairy industry is invited to attend. In addition to announcing production awards and the business meeting, the program will feature a report on Agriculture in California presented by Richard Lancaster plans tobacco Class 5 - 4-H Club Fillers No length specified. Select leaves that are uniform in size, color, texture and free from insect, disease or mechanical damage. Both FFA and 4-H Club mem bers may also exhibit in open classes-1,2 or 3. An important rule change has been made from previous years. Tobacco growers as owners, may show families, partnerships or any other management arrangement will be limited to no more than two exhibit hands per division, long and short, of each class in the open part of the show.
