    WfcLLSBORO Glenn Bowen led Tioga County with top
records in milKand tat in the county's 57th DHIA testing year.
The Wellsboro dairyman completed the year with averages
of 20,155 pounds ot milk and 788 pounds of tat on 39.2 cows.
. A registered Holstein owned by-Gordon Wood of Mansfield
led the county in top tat production. Wood's "Halo" completed
the year with 1,404 pounds ot tat and 29,016 pounds ot milk
with a 4.8 percent tat test. . -
Chenango Farm of Troupsburg, N.Y. had the’top cow tor
milk -production. Their registered Holstein, "Nancy” com
pleted the year with 30,307 pounds ot milk and 1,193 pounds
otfat.
Members ot the Tioga County DHIA include: President-
Oouglas Lawton, Vice President-Gordon Wilcox; Secretary
freasurer-Suzanne Thomas, Directors-Earl Cass, Dennis
Owlett, Sherman Warner, Fred Pazzaglia, James Hepp, Sarnie
Wilcox, Winston Rumsey, Gordon Wilcox, Richard Groover,
Gordon Schanbacher, Oliver P. Butler and Douglas Lawton;
Testers-Thomas Doughty, Mjchael Stickler, Henry F. Doan,
Kenneth Whitsell, Neil and Lona Shugart, Harvey Un
dercoftler, William and Diane Mcllwam, Randy Luckenbill,
Linda Sticklm and Joseph Hayden.
Those herds averaging more than 600 pounds ot tat are
included in the following list.

WILLIAMSPORT The Pennsylvania DHIA-Lycommg Local
finished its 56th year with 68 whole-year herds. In addition,
nine Owner-Sampler herds completed the testing year.
The county's 3,532 cows on test finished with averages of
15,018 pounds of milk and 570 pounds of fat.
Eugene W. Hall of Muncy led the county with averages ot
20,965 pounds of milk and 848 pounds of fat on 67.2 cows.
Lycoming County had three herds th?* produced more than
700 pounds of fat and twenty herds producing in the 600-699
bracket.
Members of the Lycoming Local OHIA include: President-
Paul Ritter; Vice President-Oonald Hepburn, Secretary-
Treasurer-Nancy Jarrett; Directors-Burton Staman, Steve
Marshall and Donna Hall; Supervisors-Larry Bower, Kay
Showers, Robert McCUntock and Jan Paulhamus.

Clinton Co. DHLA
LOCK HAVEN Clinton County DHIA recently celebrated
its 42nd year of testing in the Central Pa. County. The county’s
1,449 cows on test averaged 15,568 pounds of milk and 581
pounds of fat on 26 whole-year herds.
- Mill Hall dairyman, Blair E. Courter topped the county with
averages of 18,432 pounds of milk and 718 pounds of fat on
48.7 cows.
Members of the Clinton Co. DHIA include: Ronald Meyer,
Larry Ootterer, Blair Courter, Leslie Irvin, and Paul Courter-
Directors, Tom Fox, Ron Beck, Bonnie Beck, and Ron Rishel-
Supervisors.

RIDGEWAY The Potter-Elk Dairy Herd Improvement
Association finished its 54th year in September. The DHIA
Plan included' 19 full-time members in Potter County
(previously published), five members in Elk County and one in
Cameron County.
In addition, there were two in Elk County on the Owner-
Sampler plan that have not been listed in this report.
A 4-year-old registered Holstein owned by Fred W. Gregory
of St. Marys, topped the county in milk and butterfat "Vida”
finished with 23,636 pounds of milk and 818 pounds of fat.
