YG 3-4’s. Heifers closed 2.00 lower
cows 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Bulls 4.00 to
5.00 lower. The early trade Monday
opened slow in reaction to the
unstable wholesale beef trade late
the previous week. By Midsession
buyers where either off the market
or bidding sharply lower directly
in line with the lower beef trade

and commodity market. Midweek
found increase demand and
clearance was largely complete.
Receipts this week about 3700 as
compared to 5093 a week ago and
4200 a year ago.
