York poultry team places eighth
YORK - The York County 4-H
Poultry Judging Team recently
received Bth place in overall team
competition when they competed
against 21 teams at the National 4-
H Poultry Judging Contest in
Louisville, KY.
Team members are Judy and
Linda Waltersdorff, York; Tim
Flory, Red Lion; and Mark
Ebaugh, Delta. The coaches are
Leroy Bowles, Red Lion and
Roxanne Price, Penn State
University Extension Service.
The team members judged live
production hens, dressed market
birds, interior and exterior egg
quality and broken out egg quality.
In the judging areas, the team
placed 10th in Market Egg and 3rd
in market poultry. Judy Walter
sdorff was recognised for placing
10th high individual in market
poultry, 4th high individual in egg
production and 4th individual in
the overall competition.

Friends 4-H Waterfowl 4-H Club
held their second annual awards
dinner recently at the Extension
Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Nief of
