WARREN Pittsfield dairyman Hoyd Beaidsiey topped the
Warren County DHIA's 58th year with the nigh herd ot lb, 18/
pounds ot milk and 684 pounds ot botterfat.
In addition, Beardsley's aged cow, "Boots," a Bootmaker
daughter turned in the highest production average at 26,289
pounds of milk. .
M and M Ludwick Farms ot Sugar Grove had top cow tor high
buttertat. Ludwick Farms' aged grade Holstein, an Apollo
Victor daughter, finished with 1,046 pounds of buttertat.
Two other Sugar Grove dairy farmers we r e also honored.
Steve and Sheryl Vanco recorded the most improvement in
buttertat production. The couple increased their buttertat
production by 46 pounds from last year. . . ..
The annual report of the Warren County DHIA included 44
whole-year herds ot 2,181 cows on test, which averaged
14,169 pounds ot milk and 530 pounds ot buttertat.
