Cannon, Flemingsburg, Kentucky, as president of the 28,000-member Association for 1982. Cannon succeeds retiring president Myron Woolever, Unionville, Missouri. The 280 delegates representing states from all over the United States, met at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in' Louisville during the North American International Livestock Exposition. The farm has produced bulls that were sold to three major A.I. bull studs. Cannon started in the Angus business m 1952 with a registered Angus heifer for his 4-H Club project. The Stonegate herd now numbers some 200 brood cows. He has served as president of the Kentucky Angus Association as well as president of several local and area livestock groups, and was elected cattleman of the year in Kentucky in 1968. He was elected to two 3-year terms on the American Angus Association board of directors and served a seventh year in 1981 as vice president of the Association, and chairman of the executive committee. Charles and his wife, the former Francis Owens, have three children. Clay, Jay and Chris. Ray Adams of Tahoka, Texas, has been in the cattle business since 1950 and in the registered Angus business since 1959. Adams has served as president of the Texas Angus Association, as well as serving on the executive committee and as director, vice president and treasurer. He was elected to the board of directors of the American Angus Association in 1976 and among other positions has served as chairman of the finance committee and treasurer of the American Angus Association. Ray and his wife Nan have two children Jim and Jo Anna, and one grandson T. J.
