Fasnacht of Ephrata, last Wednesday an nounced the planned retirement of the agency’s chief executive officer. Glenn L. Bowers, who has served as the Commission’s executive director for the past 16 years, says he wants to retire at the end of 1982, and is making his in tention known early so the Commission will have adequate time to find a successor. President Fasnacht, in making the an nouncement, stated, “Bowers’ willingness to confide his plans so soon should provide the Commission’s search committee an op portunity to find a qualified replacement a challenging task that won’t be easily accomplished. Glenn Bowers is a professional wildlife manager and an outstanding ad ministrator, and he’s going to be difficult to replace.” Fasnacht went on to say that he wanted to assure Pennsylvania sportsmen that the Game Commission will search diligently in an effort to find the most qualified individual to head the Com monwealth wildlife resource management agency. Bowers, a native of Vork County, joined the Game Commission in 1948. He’s served as a biologist, chief of the Division of Research, 770 " 726 7% 820 744 673 741 717 772 675 706 747 694 650 715 679 718 910 692 793 725 794 890 755 753 677 672
