Guest speaker for the event was Mrs. David Hawthorne who gave a Lancaster Co. Society 10 Lancaster Co. Society 10 met for their November meeting at Luther Acres for a noon meal. After the meal, members toured the hdme. Lancaster Co, Society 14 Farm Women 14 met at the home of Miriam Groff Wednesday, November 11, for a mystery lun cheon. Roll call was answered by telling a traditional holiday food. President Miriam Leaman reported on the recent 64th Annual Lancaster County Farm Women Convention. Society 9 was held at the ' home of Kim Casner, with 10 members present. The treasurer reported a balance of 1306.34. The Christmas party will be on December 11 at 8 p.m., at Schaf fer’s Restaurant in Boyertown. The county hoedown made a profit of $50.88. The state convention will be held in January. A motion was made and seconded to spend $5O on gifts for the Hamburg Center for Christmas gifts.
