l.Sfr-3.00 higher. Bulls firm to 2.00
higher. Trade opened the week
slow, but turned active by mid
week. Field work throughout the
trade area taking priority over
livestock marketing at midweek.
Reduced supplies, improved
demand and aggressiveness of
buyers plus increased packer
buyers all contributed to higher
trends for the first time in eight
weeks. Receipts this week about
2600 as compared to 3073 a week
ago and 4192 a year ago.
